Tomorrow, The Wine Show returns to our screens for its eagerly-anticipated second season

This time round, host Matthew Goode – him of Downtonwill be joined by fellow actor James Purefoy as, from their Provençal base, they embark on an irreverent tour taking in vineyards and producers in the USA, Canada, Georgia, Spain, Japan, Argentina, Bosnia and Germany.

In this thirsty endeavour they will be supported by old-timers Matthew Rhys, Amelia Singer and Joe Fattorini, as well as a supporting cast of the great and the good from the world of food, wine and entertainment – including Stéphane Reynaud and Jancis Robinson MW, who each week will take part in a different food and wine pairing challenge. Every week, Messrs Rhys and Fattorini will visit our St James’s Street home and explore our extensive collection of wine-related ephemera.

The Wine Show starts tomorrow at 7pm on Channel 5 in the UK, and is available to stream on Hulu in the US.
