How to mix a gin martini

The gin martini is perhaps the most elemental of all cocktails. It calls on just three ingredients – gin, Vermouth and a slice of lemon. When mixed, chilled and served up in an ice-cold glass, this humble trio combine to become far more than the sum of their parts.

50ml No. 3 Gin
10ml Dry Vermouth
Lemon twist zest
Add the gin and Vermouth to a mixing glass filled with ice
and stir for at least 15 seconds to get the liquid as cold as possible.
Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a lemon.
