The stock has arrived, the paint has dried… and excitement is building: we are just a few days away from the official re-opening of The Warehouse Shop, Hampshire.

Those who, in the past, frequented the Bin End Shop (as our outlet was previously known), will be well-acquainted with its potential as a source of impressive bottles with equally impressive reductions. The aesthetics, however, erred on the functional (to say the least).

So, with some fanfare, this weekend we will be unveiling the sleek new surroundings of The Warehouse Shop: discounts of up to 30 percent are still to be had on an even larger selection of wines, alongside 25 percent off Pol Roger Champagne (as our opening offer) and a vastly increased selection of fine wine.

Urban Salon architects are behind the transformation. Caroline Keppel-Palmer, MD at the firm, explains some of the thinking behind the new design: “The layout is intuitive so that customers can easily find what they want. Wine bottles are displayed in wooden boxes, while tasting tables are located under an avenue of enamel lights along the length of the whole store.

“The shop also includes a separate fine wine room where the wine is displayed on elegant back-lit wooden units under a distinctive slatted ceiling,” she says.

Come and see for yourselves as the shop opens this weekend. For more details, and opening hours, go to bbr.com or call 0800 280 2440.
